Obituary for Angelo Mencucci

Angelo Mencucci 81, of Woonsocket passed June 2nd at Oak Grove Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Luigi and Julia Mencucci and he is survived by his loving wife Louise Bileau Mencucci. Angelo was predecease by his son Michael and he is survived by Michael's wife Judith Mencucci, he is also survived by his adoring son Angelo Mencucci Jr. and his spouse Lisa, his daughter Diana (Mencucci) Debroisse and her spouse Michael Debroisse. He will also be sadly missed by all of his adoring grandchildren and great-grand children his Grandchildren are Cory Debroisse and his spouse Amanda, Amanda Mencucci and Adam Davis, Kayla (Debroisse) Hatcher and her spouse Will Hatcher, Nicholas Mencucci and Alyssa Mencucci Great Grandchildren:
Alex Mencucci, Nathan Mencucci, Alaina Mencucci Davis and Savannah Debroisse

Angelo was a life long Woonsocket resident and a member of the Italian Workingman’s Club and the Marchegiano Club both in Woonsocket. He enjoyed watching Patriots Football games and was an avid Yankee baseball fan and an avid collector of baseball cards. He will always be remembered as “The Big Dog” and ultimate supervisor of all projects big and small. He also enjoyed sitting outside watching his grandchildren play and chatting with friends and neighbors as well as his daily visits to coffee shops to meet with friends. A true sportsman he also loved to saltwater fish after retiring as a warehouse supervisor of Ames Department Store.

Burial for Angelo will be in the Veteran's Cemetery10:30 am Friday June 10th.
