Martinez, (Mendoza) Maria, 61 of Woonsocket passed away at Rhode Island Hospital August 12th 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Moses and Carmen (Navarro) Mendoza. She is survived by her loving husband Martin Martinez and her five adoring children Abraham Martinez Mendoza, Marjorie Morales Mendoza, Lillian Caroline Morales Mendoza, Ruth Marie Martinez Mendoza, Ingrid Marie Martinez Mendoza. Maria is also survived by her eleven siblings and was predeceased by one. She is survived by her seven grandchildren by whom she will be sorely missed.

Maria was the light of the family, her smile will be remembered for many years to come, Maria loved spending time with her family loved sharing laughs and good food, music and memories.

Services for Maria, to which friends and family are invited to attend will be held at the Cavalry Worship Center on Prospect St Woonsocket on Saturday August 19th from 2pm to 8pm
