Charette, Carol Jean (Phipps) 65, daughter of Ruth Phipps and the late James Phipps. Born Dec 31st, 1951 at Otis AFB Falmouth, Mass., Jean leaves behind her three daughters. Kimberley and her spouse Leon Adams of Valrico, FL., Kelly and her spouse Matthew Strauss of Hingham, MA., and Robin Desmarais of Warwick, RI. Jean is also survived by her 3 sisters Ellen Halloran, Cindy Kurzontkowski, Kathleen Kelly and one brother, James Phipps. She is also survived by her 7 beautiful and loving grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews by whom she will be sorely missed.

A graduate of Hopkinton High School. Jean worked for several years at Tech Industries of Woonsocket, RI. She loved to work and loved being busy and helpful.

She was very outgoing and loved life. She loved to crochet, write poetry, listen to music and sing. She was an avid listener to WNRI radio station of Woonsocket, where she loved to call in to discuss politics, current events, and other topics of interest. Jean was a very giving person. She would always strive to ensure her family and friends were well taken care of and if she couldn’t help, she would find a way to get that help. She was a practicing Christian who knew and loved the lord. Jean held her family close to her heart as her family was her world.

Her influence will be remembered forever by all whom she touched and by whom she will be missed dearly. Sadly, for us, she quietly departed this life on Friday Oct 6th, 2017 in Rhode Island Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Her beautiful life will be forever cherished in the lives of her children and family.
