My Grandma
I would like to take some time and share some thoughts about my Grandma. There are many stories I could tell that would show how nice, loving, caring, sensitive and thoughtful my Grandmother was. Instead, I want to share some things about her that I loved. Every time I seen her walk into a room with her smile and sweet smell of perfume, I always felt a warm feeling in my heart. A feeling I will miss forever because a piece of my heart died with her.
When me and my sister were little, we always used to have sleep overs and I remember her always making us tea and toast for breakfast, which was my favorite. We also loved playing poker! Which is something she always did in her spare time. She taught me how to play so many games. Another thing she loved was country and oldies music. She enjoyed going to concerts and enjoying the music. She loved watching game shows as well. Her favorite ones were Press Your Luck, The Pyramid, Wheel of Fortune and The Price is Right. I'm going to miss talking to her and hearing her ask me "did you eat today". She loved so many people and so many people loved and adored her. We all enjoyed spending the holidays together. I used to love watching her open her gifts on Christmas with that smile on her face. A smile I will miss everyday.
I hear from so many people "stay strong, she wouldn't want you to be sad". I know that's true, but it still doesn't stop the pain from missing her so much. I will always carry special memories around with me until we see each other again.
